Post Malone has released another song called “Cooped Up,” featuring Roddy Ricch – the latest addition to his new album Twelve Carat Toothache. Malone works as a producer with his constant colleague Louis Bell.
“Cooped Up” is the most recent song Post Malone has released on his upcoming album, after “One Right Now” with The Weeknd. He previewed some new songs on his Instagram Live recently, for example, collaborations with Kid Laroi, Doja Cat, and Robin Pecknold’s Fleet Foxes.
Twelve Carat Toothache will be launched on June 3. Posted behind Post Malone’s 2019 studio LP Hollywood’s Bleeding. Malone informed Billboard that the latest collection speaks of “the ups and downs and the disarray and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.”
This weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode will highlight Post Malone as a music guest, his first appearance on the show, hosted by Selena Gomez.
Austin Richard Post by birth, Malone is an American rapper and songwriter best known for his versatile writing and vocal styles. It usually includes mixing genres and subgenres hip hop, R&B, and trap.
His stage name was obtained by adding his real name to the rapper name generator.
The 26-year-old started his music career in 2013 as a freelance artist and gained fame with his 2015 debut single, “White Iverson,” which placed number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Malone then signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released his studio album, Stoney, in 2016. One of the songs on this album is the diamond song “Congratulations.” The album broke records, staying on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop album chart for 77 weeks.
Beerbongs and Bentleys, his second album, was released on top ranks of the US Billboard 200 and broke several streaming records. In addition, it featured some of the hit 100 songs “Rockstar” and “Psycho” and was nominated for the 2018 Grammy Awards Album of the Year category.
The first single, “Sunset,” was an promotional and leading song in MCU’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film. It was Malone’s third album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, that earned Malone his second number.
The next one also came in first and broke records, staying on the top charts for the longest time in the Hot 100.
Post Malone is one of the most respected music artists, with more than 80 million records sold. He has won 10 Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and has been nominated several times for Grammy Awards.
