Aside from his John Maxwell certification, Mason is also a Certified CBMC Coach, Certified Primal Health Coach, Certified Bucket List Coach, and a Licensed Diversity and Inclusion Trainer. The Loyola University alumnus is best known for his innate passion for knowledge and personal belief that growth and improvement should be a constant part of anybody’s life.
Mason’s rich work experience, mostly in sales, makes him a very prolific thought leader for corporate environments. Having collected a wide array of experiences that include failures and discouragements, both at work and in his personal life, Mason has evolved into someone whose resilience is admirable and worthy of attention. His many years working in sales opened his eyes to the many realities being faced by employees today, from burnout to over fatigue and the need for a new beginning after being employed for quite some time.

“After working in sales for years and watching people literally run a company into the ground, I realized two things: I don’t like working for other people and I couldn’t do any worse. They had run their companies into the ground and if that was the worst thing that could happen to me, I could live with that. I couldn’t live without even trying,” Mason explains. “The cemetery is full of unfulfilled dreams. Who wants to get to the end of their life and the only thing you have to declare for a life on this planet is regret for the life you didn’t live?”
Looking at the many years ahead of him, Roderick Mason envisions Holistic Coaching Solutions going global, catering to destination retreats that will allow him to take his comprehensive programs outside of the regular training room setting. This kind of opportunity will allow his clients to come face to face with their aspirations in life and begin to envision their own desires. As he continues to thrive in the industry, Mason sees his company attracting people left and right and growing a waitlisted set of clients who desire to experience his impactful training. He also anticipates people coming all the way to Chicago to attend his smaller retreats. As for his personal aspiration, Mason envisions himself owning a second home in a place that is sunny all year round.
