Traditionally a heterosexual-dominated market, diversity of sexual experiences is limited – a criticism that Alice Derock, the creator and founder of Wet For Her, which is the leader in Lesbian and LBTQ+ sex toys, agrees with. “There was something missing in the market,” shared Alice Derock. “Back then, all we would find are toys with porn-like packaging and not those intended to enhance female lovemaking. But we don’t have to settle for toys made by people who don’t understand our lovemaking. Lovemaking is a simultaneous experience and our sex toys are designed to provide this pleasure for our community.”

Since its launch, Wet For Her has impressed industry peers and customers alike with the selection of its own functional, pleasurable, and aesthetically-pleasing products. Its sex toys, which come in modern and sleek packages, are manufactured with top-notch quality as a priority instead of mass-produced. Additionally, the dildos, strap-ons, harnesses, and more that are available at WFH are designed to please customers of all sizes and denominations.

The heights that Wet For Her has managed to reach overtime are credited not only to the quality of its offerings. What has contributed to its growing prominence, as well, is the creative vision and passion of the team at its helm. “As a women-owned company with an all lesbian and trans team, we pride ourselves in knowing and understanding the needs of our community members,” added Alice Derock. “Even the smallest details are considered in order to cater to lesbian, trans, and queer couples.”

After more than a decade following its creation, Wet For Her continues to be the go-to provider of sex toys for the LBTQ+ community, standing out amid a growing number of ventures that promise to offer an LBTQ+ selection. Wet For Her sets itself apart by making an LBTQ+ range that is non-realistic and comes in fun colors and different shapes, taking into account that generic and often seedy-looking products are not what the community is looking for. In addition, Wet For Her products are trademarked and are only sold on Wet For Her’s own webshop; hence, they cannot be purchased from other ventures which sell heterosexual toys on their LGBTQ+ dedicated websites but are not LBTQ+ specific products. 

In the years to come, this brainchild of Alice Derock is expected to remain a favorite among lesbians, transgender, nonbinary, intersex, and gender non-conforming folks because of its gender-affirming products and dedication to closing the gaps in the sexual wellness industry.
