Marie-Louise has been cooking up a storm on stage at theatres and cabarets across New York City, captivating audiences with her dynamic performances and vintage allure. Since the release of her original singles “Naked” and “Honey I” in 2024, she has brought her music to life at several iconic NYC venues, including The Triad—a historic launching pad for stars like Lady Gaga, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Shaffer, and Warren Zevon—and Pianos, another early home for emerging talent.
She’s also become a familiar face at venues like Brooklyn Music Kitchen and Café Paradiso, nestled in the heart of Lincoln Center Film. These spaces have become regular residency spots, where audiences return to be dazzled by her magnetic presence and vocal prowess.
Originally from the UK, Marie-Louise has been singing since childhood. Fluent in French, she’s earned praise for her enchanting covers of French classics like “Le Coup de Soleil” and “La Vie en Rose”, infusing them with fresh charm and emotional depth.
Marie-Louise’s journey took a powerful turn through her mentorship with Patrick Ermlich, a Brooklyn-based entrepreneur with deep roots in both the creative and business sides of the music industry. Born into a family of opera singer-entrepreneurs, Ermlich developed The Compass Method, an approach to strategic artist development that focuses on clarity, purpose, and lifestyle design—offering an alternative to the often superficial chase of metrics. Under his guidance, Marie-Louise has carved out a distinct artistic identity and found new creative direction.
“I write music to teleport me back to Old Hollywood glamour, where the world glitzes and sparkles,” says Marie-Louise. “To uplift and motivate me to get through the day and maintain the belief that things will work themselves out. To make sure I don’t get caught up in the day-to-day and remember to live.”
Marie-Louise’s fanbase has also been growing steadily online. Her YouTube channel has drawn in new listeners from around the world, with fans commenting things like:
“You use your vocal skills so beautifully!” —@holyQ
“Keep singing Mila… You look great :)”- @JULIFER008

Looking Ahead: From the UK to NYC—A Star in Motion
As Marie-Louise continues to shape her path through New York City’s vibrant music scene, one thing is clear—she’s not just performing; she’s building something lasting. With every show, she blends vintage elegance and emotional honesty, channeling the spirit of Old Hollywood glamour with a modern, soulful twist.
Though now based in the U.S., Marie-Louise’s British roots are still a huge part of who she is. Born and raised in the UK, she grew up surrounded by music and storytelling. Recently, she returned to the spotlight back home in an exciting way—being interviewed by Matt Super on Kent Radio, live from Bluewater. During the interview, she shared her artistic journey and inspirations, and even had her original songs played live on air. For Marie-Louise, hearing her own music broadcast back in her home country was a surreal and emotional moment.

“To hear my songs on the radio back in Kent, where it all began—it just felt really full-circle. It was one of those moments where you realize how far you’ve come, and how much more you still want to do.”
This connection to both the UK and New York defines her as an artist—rooted in heritage, but always reaching forward. Her voice, steeped in timeless influences and layered with modern vulnerability, has begun to resonate across borders.
With her upcoming performances in The Ladies of New York City, new music on the way, and a growing international fanbase, Marie-Louise is building serious momentum. Whether performing at a historic New York venue or being heard over the airwaves in Kent, she continues to enchant audiences with her authenticity and spark.
And if the past year is any indication, this is only the beginning.
