Jerdarius Collier is one of the first in his area to have his movie streaming platform at twenty-five years old, coming from Tangipahoa, Louisiana. He established his own film production company, BlackHawk Productions, in 2013, and now he has his own movie streaming platform PremierePlatphorm.net in 2022. “I don’t have a target audience, but I want to have a general audience because my movies are good enough for everyone to enjoy them if it is age-appropriate, ” says the innovator. His passion for the BlackHawk Productions owner, his passion mainly revolves around writing, directing, and acting.
As a writer, Jerdarius takes pride in writing relatable stories to the audience. With his incredible imagination, storyline, and script, he is ready to blow people’s minds. Jerdarius Collier also does his best to maintain good communication with his crew and everyone else working on his set. He understands that one key to sound film production is founded on good communication. Finally, as an actor, he has performed in front of hundreds of talent managers, giving reasonable feedback for his performance.
Jerdarius’ motivation to start his venture was the endless rejections he received from film aggregators like Film Hub, Amazon Prime Video, and others. There were various reasons for the no-gos. “Youtube is making it hard to get any views because so many people are uploading goofy and wacky videos raking in millions of views,” he adds. “Their main focus is fancy thumbs nails, short videos, and how-to videos. So I decided to move my indie projects to Premiere Platform and keep my short content on Youtube.”
Jerdarius Collier sees the Premiere Platform as a successful bonus to BlackHawk Productions in five years. They look to become the primary outlet for upcoming artists to show their original films with easy submission, without the hassle of meeting specific criteria. “We hope Indie filmmakers and film lovers will benefit from this platform and news because they will have better information and understanding about my movie streaming platform,” adds Collier.
