Veronika Leveneс, the famous Russian cybermodel and ambassador of the Sol Angel brand, demonstrated the new collection of this brand.
During the shoot, Veronica appeared in luxurious evening dresses, decorated with crystals, as well as with unique prosthetics – one was made in gold metallic color, the second – in steel, decorated with Swarovski rhinestones.
“The SOLANGEL brand chose me as their ambassador and provided me with gorgeous dresses for filming. And while the shooting was taking place, the singer Madonna, wearing an outfit from the same brand, was opening her iconic world tour in London,” Veronica said about the shooting.
This collaboration showed that modern technology and high fashion can coexist perfectly, and people with special needs can be real stars.
In her interview, Levenets said that a few years ago she saw a smiling guy named Lev with a cyber prosthesis on Instagram. This amazed her, as she had never seen anything like it before. All her life she used ordinary cosmetic prostheses to hide her missing arm. She dreamed of one day learning to hold a fork or knife in her hand.
Upon discovering a company specializing in custom prosthetics, Veronika Leveneс took a significant step towards transforming her vision into reality. Eager to explore the possibilities of turning her prosthetics into unique works of art, she promptly applied to the company. The subsequent contact she received was more than just a response; it was an affirmation that her innovative concept was feasible.
This marked the beginning of a groundbreaking collaboration that resulted in the creation of the world’s first prosthesis adorned with a stunning array of 6,000 Swarovski crystals. This intricate and bespoke design not only showcased the seamless integration of technology and artistry but also became a symbol of empowerment, challenging conventional notions about prosthetics and celebrating individuality in the realm of fashion and self-expression.
Veronika Leveneс faced the challenge of aplasia, a condition where her left hand and part of the forearm did not fully develop. Undeterred by this physical difference, Veronica embraced prosthetics as a means of not just compensating for the absence but turning it into a unique and empowering expression of her identity. Below the elbow, she chose to replace her missing limb with prosthetics, and specifically, two remarkable bionic prostheses crafted by a Moscow-based company located in the Skolkovo center.
The first prosthesis is a dazzling metallic gold, a testament to the fusion of technology and aesthetics. The second prosthesis is a striking steel-colored creation adorned with Swarovski rhinestones, turning what could be seen as a functional necessity into a dazzling accessory. This decision to embellish her prosthetics with intricate details reflects Veronica’s bold and creative approach to her physicality, transforming what might be perceived as a limitation into a canvas for self-expression and beauty.
“Sol Angel” is a unique Russian fashion house specializing in creating evening and formal wear from fabrics decorated with crystals. Irena Soprano, the author and inspirer of the project, is called a Russian innovative designer. Out of her premium tailoring atelier, she created an innovative workshop where she developed her own method of applying various forms of crystals to fabric.
