With 14 clinics across four states, Evolve Med Spa’s growth is the result of its dedication to clinical expertise and customized treatment plans.

In recent years, medical spa treatments have grown increasingly popular as people search for procedures that are neither standard beauty treatments nor as invasive as plastic surgery. Medical aesthetics is a part of the healthcare industry that concentrates on improving a client’s appearance through non-surgical or minimally invasive treatments administered under medical supervision.
Evolve Med Spa specializes in helping clients who seek solutions through modern aesthetic medicine. The spa started in one location in Hoboken in 2020 and has expanded to 14 locations spanning New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. All clients are met with an unwavering commitment to quality.
“Our message is that true aesthetics is about more than the service itself; it is about the expertise, the integrity of our protocols, and the way our team makes every client feel seen and understood,” says Emily Fernandez, co-founder of Evolve Med Spa.
Founding and Expanding a Regional Business
Evolve Med Spa was founded in 2020 by Emily Fernandez, VP of Operations; Dr. Oz Fernandez, Medical Director; and Austin Jacobus, VP of Clinical. The three founders had a unified vision and built Evolve Med Spa from the ground up. The cohesive leadership has benefited the patients by establishing strict standards of safety and aesthetic excellence.
Evolve Med Spa faced some obstacles in its early years due to the pandemic. Under Emily’s leadership in operations, the company was able to navigate and become a regional brand with 14 locations. Each step of the company’s expansion was taken with care, making certain each new branch would continue to provide the high-quality boutique experience clients expect with clinical skincare and non-surgical rejuvenation procedures.
The med spa is well-known for its customized treatment plans that are performed in a comfortable, professional environment where consultations allow providers to discuss individual goals, explain available options, and set realistic expectations before recommending an appropriate course of treatment. Maintaining that experience across multiple locations requires ongoing coordination between the company’s operational and clinical teams. Emily’s role includes helping translate Evolve Med Spa’s standards into consistent day-to-day practices, from the initial consultation through follow-up care. This structure is intended to support both personalization and continuity as the business expands.
Evolve Med Spa has had consecutive annual wins for Best Med Spa, Best Med Spa for Fillers, Best Med Spa for Injectables, and Best Med Spa for Facials from lifestyle platforms, including Vogue Magazine.
A Different Kind of Medical Spa Experience
Emily explains that the founders felt that there was a space in the healthcare landscape for a med spa that would have strong medical standards while also providing a welcoming and personalized client experience. Establishing safety and treatment protocols was very important in the beginning so that every treatment would follow consistent standards.
The aesthetics industry is growing quickly and evolving. It can be an intimidating or impersonal experience to seek out treatments. The founders recognized that clients not only wanted expertise and safe treatments, but also a place where they felt heard and respected.
The team at the med spa doesn’t recommend the same services to everyone. Instead, Evolve Med Spa focuses on personalized treatment plans for each client based on their goals. The goal is to have natural-looking results that make the clients feel confident in their appearance and satisfied with their experience.
“Looking ahead, our vision is to establish Evolve Med Spa as a premier national brand and the definitive, top-of-mind destination for medical aesthetics. We want to be the trusted authority that individuals instinctively turn to when seeking advanced clinical treatments and high-quality care,” says Emily.
