From the moment she first picked up a guitar at the age of six, Aura knew that music was her calling. But, of course, like many others, it was not an easy path to follow.
Growing up in a highly success-driven household, Aura faced pressure from her parents to excel academically and set herself up for a stable career. But despite their well-intentioned concerns, Aura could not shake her passion for music and storytelling. Her unique, evocative voice has been compared to legends like Stevie Nicks or Alanis Morrisette, and her love for rock music is evident in every note she sings.
Aura‘s teenage years were filled with trauma and questionable decisions. She moved out of her parents’ house at 15 and struggled with alcohol and drug abuse that temporarily silenced her creative voice. But at 20, she knew it was time to take control of her life. She returned to her parents’ house and began working on her music in silence while attending college. Eventually, she landed a label deal in Switzerland, but feeling like it was not the right fit, Aura walked away to pursue her music independently.
With the release of five singles, all written and produced with her boyfriend in her own home studio, Aura has amassed a massive following on her social media accounts and is now recording her debut album. Over the course of the past two months, she played over 30 gigs in the UK and Switzerland, captivating audiences with her raw, honest storytelling and powerful voice.
