Dr. Carolyn M. Rubin Returns from London, Inspired by the Women of Heart We Go Black Event and a Shared Commitment to Purpose-Driven Leadership

Some events are meant to live long after they have ended. The Women of Heart (WOHA) We Go Black event in London was one of them. It brought together women who believe leadership starts with purpose, compassion, and service. The event celebrated achievements, encouraged meaningful conversations, and placed a strong focus on the next generation of women leaders.

For Dr. Carolyn M. Rubin, the experience carried personal meaning. Named the WOHA Face of Grace London and recognized for her work with the WOHA Young Girls of Heart London initiative, she returned home with renewed energy to continue her mission through Carolyn M. Rubin Consulting.

“WOHA is more than a moment; it is a movement. A celebration of women rising in strength, grace, purpose, and power.”

Dr. Rubin’s work as a healthcare executive, leadership coach, mentor, and speaker furthers this belief. Throughout her career, she has focused on helping people discover greater clarity, stronger leadership skills, and lasting confidence.

London Reinforced the Importance of Investing in Young Women

One of the highlights of the London event was the recognition of Dr. Rubin’s work with the WOHA Young Girls of Heart London initiative.

Founder and Creative Visionary Dr. Desziree Richardson shared her appreciation by recognizing Dr. Rubin’s servant leadership, kindness, and dedication to helping young women develop confidence and self-worth.

It carries an important message: “Empowering her now is empowering her future.”

That belief closely mirrors Dr. Rubin’s own work. Throughout her coaching career, she has encouraged emerging leaders to develop confidence before stepping into larger leadership roles.

The WOHA movement also describes the deeper meaning behind the event: “Black is elegance. Black is strength. Black is depth, legacy, and undeniable presence.”

Those ideas extend beyond symbolism. They encourage women to recognize their influence, support one another, and create opportunities for future generations.

For Dr. Rubin, those themes align naturally with the work she already performs through coaching, speaking engagements, and organizational leadership.

A Journey That Continues Beyond London

The Women of Heart We Go Black event celebrated leadership, service, and purpose. For Dr. Carolyn M. Rubin, it also reinforced the importance of investing in people who are ready to grow.

Her work through Carolyn M. Rubin Consulting continues that mission every day. Through coaching, leadership development, speaking, and mentorship, she helps individuals strengthen their confidence and lead with greater clarity.

Though the London event has come to an end, its impact will be reflected in discussions on leadership and service.

As stated by WOHA: “We carry vision. We inspire change. We turn intention into impact.”

This is the way forward for Dr. Rubin as she helps leaders discover purpose, strengthen their leadership, and create lasting influence.
