The sole mission of the online magazine is to build a community focused on artists rather than corporate money machines. Genuine personalities and authenticity of artists are often overshadowed by how much they made or how high they reached charts throughout their careers. And so, SoundCloud aims to change that and give artists opportunities to truly connect with audiences worldwide.
“We are currently providing several opportunities for onboarding, interviews, and radio pitch for selected artists,” revealed Lindsay Mulder. “Diversity is our goal. We are targeting anyone in the music industry who wishes to collaborate on future projects,” the founder added. SoundCandy aims to become as inclusive as possible, welcoming artists from all corners of the globe.
Furthermore, Lindsay Mulder explained that both Rock Prairie Productions LLC and SoundCandy do not limit themselves to collaborating with already established acts. The company prides itself on having an extensive database of artists, including terrestrial, satellite, and internet radio stations, bloggers, curators, label executives, A&R representatives, national studios, entertainment attorneys, producers, venues, booking agents, and many other talented individuals.
