Sherri J White: A Leader Elevating Other Women in the Corporate and Entrepreneurial Space

Anyone can aspire to succeed. However, seeds of dreams and hope watered by hard work and ambition encourage transformation to help people reach greater heights. In other words, genuine vision creates opportunities, and people should have a mapped-out vision to achieve their dreams and reach the pinnacle of success. One such individual who combined hard work, patience, and determination is Sherri J White, a brilliant visionary, childcare expert, and business consultant building a legacy and carving a name for herself as an industry leader.

Now, as the CEO of over five businesses and the co-author of the popular children’s book “Mommy, I thought you said Black was beautiful,” Sherri’s life was not all roses and accolades. She grew up poor and became a teen parent at 14. However, rather than become another statistic, the go-getter saw her situation as an inspiration to beat the odds and change the status quo. Just nine short years after navigating her high school years with a new child, the trailblazing young woman rose to the top of her field and was acknowledged as a Prominent Woman in Business at 23.

Realizing there are many more individuals, especially women, in her shoes, Sherri established her brand to provide professional, relatable, and knowledgeable resources that can be adapted and utilized for growth by individuals and companies alike.  Sharing the motivation behind her brand, she shares, “I had a hard time finding people like myself, and wondered if they even existed. After so many failed relationships with people who “look” successful but aren’t, or who boast about having substance but when you get to know them there is none, it becomes discouraging. So I decided to create my brand because I knew there was no way I was the only person going through this.”

Establishing her brand on a foundation of substance and realness, Sherri offers mentorship programs and classes using her “Success Souvenirs” formula to guide entrepreneurs through opening brick-and-mortar businesses with firsthand knowledge on how to grow both personally and professionally. When asked to share her most impressive accomplishment, the trailblazing mentor and entrepreneur said: “It would be positioning my daughter to not only become an Entrepreneur by the age of 18 but also purchase her first home at 18. Using her high school years to educate her on the importance of credit, taxes, and business, I was able to launch her first business immediately out of high school and also get her an FHA home loan.”

In addition to making giant strides as a personal development coach, Sherri J is passionate about giving back to the community and ensuring overall development. Since 2017, she has been a steady pillar of support to her community by offering free childcare. In addition, she hosts FREE Lunch and learning within the community allowing resource-hungry women from all over the world to gain legitimate knowledge and experience. “I’m never too busy to lend a helping hand or be available to those who need me even when I have absolutely nothing to give. From being a shoulder for staff and parents to lean on to be a financial resource to families in need, I’m always giving back,” she said.

After motivating and coaching many women on how to run successful businesses for over a decade, the power player felt not only did these women deserve the success they received from their hard work, but they also deserved to be platformed and honored both locally and nationally for their hard work and efforts. For this reason, she launched the Galatine’s Day Gala, an exclusive award show to elevate women who rule the business world from all industries and career fields, such as corporate executives, medical professionals, educators, Entrepreneurs, philanthropists, etc.

With the world on the lookout for how well this visionary leader will elevate her success in the years to come, it is without a doubt that Sherri J White will continue to set the trend for excellence as she builds her legacy.
