Michelle Tinner (MHA/MBA, BSN, RN) is the proud owner of Love Thy Neighbor Home Care, serving the Hampton Roads and Eastern Shore regions of Virginia. She also owns Pretty Girl Scrubs, based in Eastern Shore, Virginia. In 2023, Michelle expanded her impact by founding the Love Thy Neighbor Kares Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting caregivers as they provide care for their loved ones.
With over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession, Michelle’s journey began in 2000 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her passion for healthcare led her to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2003, a role she held for ten years. In 2012, she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from ECPI University, officially becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). Committed to continuous learning and personal growth, Michelle pursued higher education at South University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2015, followed by a dual Master’s Degree in Healthcare and Business Administration in 2017.
Michelle strongly advocates for education, believing in the transformative power of returning to school to pursue a degree or trade, regardless of age or background.
Together with her husband of ten years, Adrian Tinner, Michelle is committed to giving back to the community.
